Why I offer Recovery sessions
In my work as a physical therapist, I see how closely pain and movement are connected to the state of the nervous system. When the body is under stress, muscles often hold tension, breathing patterns can change, and areas like the jaw, back, and hips can become tight and uncomfortable.
I created recovery sessions to focus on calming the nervous system while reducing built-up tension in the body. These sessions may incorporate breathwork, TMJ techniques, myofascial release, cupping, assisted stretching, and gentle mobility work to help restore comfort and movement. They are guided by my knowledge and hands-on skills as a licensed physical therapist but are offered as wellness-focused services and are not meant to replace a physical therapy session.
